The Categories:

*⁠Most Inspiring Plot

Tidy, organised, beautiful, and utterly breathtaking. If your plot turns heads and stops people in their tracks, this one is for you.

*Best Herb Garden

How many herbs do you grow? Judges will be looking at variety, abundance, and the love that goes into your herb patch.

*Most Varieties of fruit and veg

Do you grow the rare, the exotic, or the notoriously tricky? If you have coaxed something remarkable out of the ground, we want to see it.

*Best Newcomer

New to the allotment community? If you have taken on a plot recently and already worked wonders, this award is yours to claim.

*Best Flowers & Wildlife-Friendly Plot

Are the bees buzzing and the butterflies dancing around your patch? Show us your most pollinator-friendly corner.

*Best Scarecrow (family-friendly!)

A wonderful one for the little ones! Build a scarecrow, give it some personality, and let it stand guard. Just make sure it doesn’t scare off the judges!

*Veg Gone Wrong

We have all grown one: the carrot doing yoga, the potato with too many legs…Whether it’s wonky, twisted, or frankly a little indecent. Bring your best (or worst) to the Annual BBQ, where we will put them on display and let everyone vote for the most bizarre.

*Judging: First week of August (exact dates to be confirmed)

*Annual BBQ & Awards Ceremony: Sunday, 23rd August (SAVE THE DATE!)

All winners will receive their trophies at the BBQ- and the Wonky Veg winner will be decided on the day!
